Workshop for Teachers, Students, and Families: Anyone Who Wants to Help Promote Coping Skills & Build Resilience for Youth
Are you sometimes worried about the mental health or well-being of a student, friend, or other young person? Consider coming to the March 23 special workshop on how families, friends, neighbors, and school communities can, and must work together to build resilience and coping skills for our youth. It’s the start to heading off suicide or other dangers.
The workshop is 7–8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23 at Colgan High School.
This is not a counseling session, or an emergency intervention. The workshop will be a chance to learn what each of us can do to unite and help make our young people stronger and safer.
Colgan High School is located at 13833 Dumfries Road in Manassas.
