The Grants Office helps PWCS staff identify potential funding sources to bring new projects and programs to our schools. Grants are a great way to bring additional funding to our schools and often don’t require a great deal of work.

The Grants Office helps staff:

  • Find funding opportunities that best matches their project or idea
  • Brainstorm project ideas
  • Analyze the grant application and review requirements
  • Review and edit the proposal before it is submitted
  • Teach grant-writing skills

The Grants Office also maintains the PWCS Grant Opportunities Database, a searchable directory of grant announcements ranging from $250 to $10,000. Each entry includes a brief description of the funding opportunity, the deadline, and a link to the funder’s website for more information.

PWCS staff can visit the staff intranet for complete information and access to the database.

Fiscal Regulation 333-1 requires that a Grants and Awards Internal Review Form and a final copy of every proposal be sent to the Grants Office prior to its submission to the funder.
