Concerned about your plans for the Holidays?

The holidays are a time for celebration and relaxation, but like so many other things they may be different for you and your loved ones this year. This "Grateful for Gratitude This Holiday Season" flyer (PDF) from our Employee Assistance Program, ComPsych Guidance Resources, offers tips and resources for getting the most out of this holiday season while also improving overall well-being. (Link requires login to PWCS Intranet)  ComPsych Guidance Resources services are available 24 hours a day/ 7 days per week and they can be reached at 1-844-880-6915 or the Guidance Resources website.

As many people in the United States begin to plan for fall and winter holiday celebrations, the CDC offers the following considerations to help protect individuals and their families, friends, and communities from COVID-19. These considerations are meant to supplement—not replace—any state, local, territorial, health and safety laws, rules, and regulations with which holiday gatherings must comply. When planning to host a holiday celebration, you should assess current COVID-19 levels in your community to determine whether to postpone, cancel, or limit the number of attendees.

Keep Calm and Avoid Coronavirus Scams

Even in times of crisis, the unscrupulous find opportunities for exploitation. Visit this  Federal Trade Commission infographic (PDF) for advice on protecting yourself.

From time to time, VRS receives reports from members and employers that various companies or groups have contacted them via email or phone to offer retirement counseling services or insurance products.
