On July 30, 2017, Bobby Sherrill, a beloved retired teacher, coach, and athletic director for Prince William County Public Schools, passed away.  Bobby was a teacher and coach at Gar-Field High School from 1969-1970, and served as the athletic director at Gar-Field High School from 1971-1991. Bobby is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Shirley Sherrill; sons Christopher (wife Debbie) and Lance (wife Ayleen), and eight grandchildren. 

Arrangements are a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manassas at 11:00 a.m. on August 18, 2017; interment at 1:00 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery, also on August 18, 2017.  Family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. prior to the mass.
